Jeanette Burton

Kerri Green also known as Yellow and Green (she/they) is a spoken word poet and artist based in East Sussex, living with AuDHD. Their work is a deeply personal exploration of emotion and experience, offering raw honesty and vulnerability while also embracing moments of light and healing. Through their poetry, Kerri navigates the complexities of childhood trauma, offering a reflection on their journey and a path to understanding the world around them.

Having found their voice through poetry, Kerri uses writing as a tool for unmasking, self-expression, and communication. They believe in the transformative power of creativity and works with young people to help them connect with their emotions, explore their inner worlds, and discover the light within.

Kerri has won multiple poetry competitions across the South East, and in 2023 had the honour of opening for the renowned Salena Godden. Their work has been published in various outlets, including Survivors Network, and they are currently in the process of consolidating their poetry into a book.
