Announcement:

Writing East Midlands have decided that we will no longer be using the X (formerly known as Twitter) platform. This means that Beyond the Spectrum is also leaving.  

Statement from WEM Director, Henderson Mullin: “Our values around inclusion and lowering barriers between people, are important to us. Over a long period, we have found the content on X, and the rhetoric of its owner, to be increasingly hateful in tone and intent. It isn’t the easiest decision made for a small organisation that needs cost efficient ways of reaching people. However we do not wish to tacitly condone X’s toxic nature. So, we’ll be starting again.

I hope you’ll keep travelling with us on alternative channels, which for Beyond the Spectrum specifically are, for now: Facebook and Instagram. You can also follow Writing East Midlands on both of those platforms, plus BlueSky, Threads, YouTube and LinkedIn.
