Workshop Details

This group is for autistic adults from Global Majority backgrounds (also referred to as Black, Asian, Brown, dual-heritage, Indigenous, and people of colour) who live in England. This group centres people from the Global Majority because even within autistic and neurodivergent communities, white experiences and voices often dominate. For people who are both neurodivergent and racialised, perspectives can be overlooked or misunderstood. This space exists to honour that intersection — offering a place where your full identities are seen, valued, and reflected in the community around us.

About Antonia King

Antonia Jade King is a dedicated member of Beyoncé’s BeyHive and a doctoral candidate in the humanities department at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is a published poet with Bad Betty Press. Her PhD research focuses on the cultural and historical significance of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Her work has been praised for its depth of analysis and its ability to shed new light on well-known cultural artefacts. Antonia also teaches on Martin Luther King Jr, the Civil Rights Movement, and Malcolm X at Royal Holloway University of London.

Evelyn Hunston

About Evelyn Hunston

Evelyn (Eve) Hunston grew up travelling across the UK before living in Hong Kong and Canada. She began writing in 2007, during her screenwriting MA at Aberystwyth University. She specialised in horror. She now works within the horror and thriller genres, though she has crossed into fantasy and children’s books.

Eve lives in the beautiful county of Lincolnshire with her pet snakes. She loves reading, crochet, and she is a prolific artist, working with acrylic paints on paper, canvas and stone. A Pagan and Witchcraft practitioner, she incorporates her beliefs into her work.
